A. It's generally normal for babies, especially those who are exclusively breastfed, to go a few days without having a bowel movement. Breast milk is easily absorbed by the baby's body, and there may be little waste left to pass. Some babies can go up to 3-4 days without pooping, and this is usually not a cause for concern. However, if your baby is showing signs of discomfort, straining excessively, or seems unusually fussy, it could indicate constipation. In such cases, you can try the following: 1. Bicycle Legs: Gently move your baby's legs in a cycling motion to help stimulate bowel movement. 2. Tummy Massage: A gentle tummy massage in a circular motion can help relieve any discomfort and encourage movement. 3. Warm Bath: A warm bath can help relax the baby and may help with digestion. If your baby still hasn't pooped after a few more days or shows signs of distress, it would be a good idea to consult your pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues.
