Q.

my 5 month old baby got b urned injury . using silverex ointment . is it ok clean with water if not plz tell me how to clean the wound

A. baby has a deep burn so you should consult with your doctor for proper assessment and some antibiotics will also be required for healing early and use burn Heal ointment over the area

A. Hi, it's very critical injury.. Please consult doctor for sure. For my baby burn injuries i used betadiene liquid solution to clean wound instead of water. Then apply silverex. Apply silverex generously and try to dont cover the wound. Baby is too small.. I hope she recovers soon. Also i gave few antibiotics to avoid infection . So please ask doctor about that.

A. hi, better is to visit your pediatrician regarding this . you may apply silver iodide cream (available at medical store) which will give rielf in pain. please don't use diapers . don't apply anything on it maintain good hygiene.
