Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. there is no problem if the child is sleeping on the side or the child is sleeping on the tummy.
(one important point that has to be taken care of is that the child should be made to sleep on the tummy only under observation).
when the neck holding becomes proper than you can leave the child in tummy position without any observation.
the important thing is that if the child is not having any difficulty in breathing as well as respiration and digestion problem then you can continuex to let the child sleep as well as give feeding in this position.
but if you feel that the child is having regular coughing as well as breathing difficulty then you have to change the position of the child
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. A lot of kids are very comfortable sleeping on the tummy it’s not a a problem but just make sure that your child is not keeping her head on one side because I had become Flat of this is placed on one side all the time because the pressure is too much on that side so make sure the child is pitching the head also
