A. If your four-year-old daughter has a milk allergy and is not eating properly, it’s essential to ensure she is receiving adequate nutrition without triggering her allergy. Passing semisolid stools after meals can be normal, especially if her diet is changing or if she has consumed foods that might not agree with her stomach. However, if she consistently has loose stools, it could indicate a food intolerance or sensitivity, which can be common in children with allergies. To encourage better eating habits, focus on providing a variety of nutritious foods that are safe for her, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and dairy alternatives like almond or soy milk. Ensure she stays hydrated and monitor her symptoms closely. If her eating habits do not improve or if her bowel movements are consistently abnormal, consult a pediatrician or a pediatric nutritionist for personalized advice and to rule out any underlying issues.
