#AskDOCTORS my 4 year old daughter is having cough doctor has prescribed bromhexine hcl l-cet montelukast the course of medicines got over continuing montelukast still at times cough is there with runny nose I had nebulisation with asthavent and normal saline for 2 days now cough has reduced...little runny nose is there...can I stp giving nebulisation with asthavent and can I do it just with saline?

A. No need to give further medicine asyou gave already given medicines. Little bit of cold will gets alright on its own. Give warm liquids like soupsto thechild. Give indirect steam. Apply Vick’s baby rub

A. can I give her karpooradi choornam+dasamoolarasayanam palavatam which was prescribed earlier for her by an ayurvedic practitioner

A. can I give normal saline nebulisation?

A. hello you should give the nebulization for the prescribed number of days and then stop it.. if after completion of dosage also baby is still not improved then check with your doctor.. now sincere baby is better just complete the dosage
