my 4 months baby shivers while playing it's random but shivering persists from few days.

A. Hai good morning !! Shivering ,jerks during sleep is quite normal if it is about to a fraction of seconds 3-5 seconds.. But if shivering for more than one minute then need to concern. Check baby temperature during fevers high temperatures seizures might happen in few babies for seconds . So always make sure that the baby temperature is normal 96-99 degrees F. If you observe frequent jerks,shiver more than 30 seconds ,releasing foam through mouth seek medical guidance dont delay.
