my 4 months baby's fore head is becoming big, is this a symptom of any disease? what should be done to resolve this?

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist6 years agoA. how much is the head circumference get your baby evaluated by the doctor in person. Its important in this case. avoid home remedies in this case make sure baby is comfortable and well cared.

Author of questionMom of a 6 yr 6 m old boy6 years agoA. during 14th week vaccination head circumference was 39cm. Doctor observed head and told us head is becoming big. He changed ultra D3 drops to OH D3 drops. And asked to expose to sun. But now the head is visibly more in size I feel

subravaneeMom of a 9 yr 9 m old boy6 years agoA. How are you judging the forehead is becoming big. is it getting swollen? if that's not the issue then nothing to worry. Sometimes their hair growth might delay which may result in forehead appearing big. Well I dont think it's a symptom for any disease or that you should be more concerned. Also after the birth of the baby in their vaccination chart if you have a look there's clear mention of the head size at various stages and age,you can refer that too. If your still not convinced and are doubtful please check with the paediatrician.

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 4 m old boy6 years agoA. hello of the head circumference is above the prescribed range then it can be due to some medical condition and in such case it would be better to check with your doctor and he will be able to guide you better an examination of the same if any problem
