Q.
my 4 months baby always takes his hand to mouth even after feed. and he puts everything in his mouse. I want to know is this process of teething ? is it possible that this process starts so soon?

ExpertNiharika PandeyPediatric Dentist4 years agoA. Hi yes teething phase can start as early as 4-6 months in some kids.. you can give your kid chilled silicone based teething rings or toys to chew on.. gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip

Yes You are absolutely right your child is having its teeth which is why this is happening it’s a very common thing for kids to take things into their mouth or specially finger into their mouth sometimes I try to make a Fist take it into their mouth to ease down the irritation in the gums
