Q.

my 4 month old baby pooping 7-8 times a day yellow watery also very foamy,at first it had some mucus now it's just watery and foamy yellow..its been 3 days she is pooping 7-8 times I did consult her ped he said it's normal n just gave rinifol... pooping is not stopped yet m worried.. is it normal pooping?

A. Loose motion could be because of some infection or if chronic than could be some malabsorption. Initially you can give zinc supplement for 2 weeks and probiotic like econorm sachet for 3 days . For any specific treatment cbonsult your doctor and maintain proper hydration . try to avoid giving excessive milk ok and can give khichdi mashed potato ripe banana poha if the baby is above 6 months of age, maintain proper hydration by giving plenty of fluids.

A. Hi mom If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise, passing out urine 6-8 times in a day, accepting feeds, taking proper sleep then no need to worry. This can be due to teething. Take care
