Q.
my 4 month old baby is doing green poop . is anything need to worry? I'm attaching image also.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Green colour Motion is normally seen in babies and mostly it may be due to less feeding or formula milk feeding babies.
If it is associfdated withgd mucous and foul smell in motion than there could be some infection.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Couldn't see the image. Green stools are normal in formula fed babies. But if u r exclusively breastfeeding then Green stools may also be due to the fact that baby is getting only low fat fore milk(milk that comes first) as they don't feed longer in one breast and switch breasts pretty soon. If u let the baby feed longer in one breast then he will get the high fat hind milk which comes later. But if the green stools continue or the consistency of the poop changes like too loose or too tight then u can consult with your pediatrician once.
