my 4.5 months baby her head n forehead is little hot n once she wil cough.. for this wat is the remedy doctor.... n she has little cold

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and efxpectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluafmktion by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

please give plenty of breastfeeds.
it is very important
measure the temperature repeatatively , use baby thermometer like Babyhug brand thermometer.
if temperature remains 100f or above please visit your pediatrician
