Q.
My 4.5 month old baby is passing brownish poop. He is on breastfeed and formula feed. What should I do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. that is a normal and common pattern which can be seen with breastfeeding and formula milk so if the child is not having any other complaints and the weight gain is proper do not worry about it

As long as your baby is active and healthy, accepting feeds, passing adequate urine 6 to 8 times in a day, showing no discomfort symptoms, no blood or foul smell in the stools then nothing to worry. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. If there is any discomfort symptoms then consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice.
