my 3months 20days old baby is showing 98.8 temperature...is it called fever? we have to give paracetamol or not

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring tjijhe temperature down .

A. 99°F or more than that is considered fever right on the child is having a very normal body temperature just wanted to the temperature in every one hour if you see this is touching 99 at any given point of time then yes you should definitely give medicine during that time
