Q.
My 3 yr old baby got a mouth ulcer...For past 3 days she had a fever. I gave paracitamol (250) 4hrs once..Now she is fine, no fever. doctor prescribed quadraj gel..but in google it's mentioned adult only use...can I give it to my baby.pls suggest..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. can use kindly applies zytee gel / dologel over the ulcer / paining area in the oral cavity. you can use your finger to apply the gel and rotate the finger blindly in the oral cavity. do not worry about the ingestion of this gel. this will only help in decreasing the pain as well as will help in faster healing. itf is also advisable to start a multivitamin supplement after consulting the doctor for this problem. give fluids / juices in diet to the child. see that child is not suffering from constipation. meet dr if not improving
