Q.

My 3 year old son keeps on sucking his own tongue.. He does this when he is sleepy or bored. Is this harmful? How can I make him come out of this habit.

A. it will improve eventually. it can be just for soothing. try to distract . engage in some play . it can be separation anxiety new environment at school or hunger or some discomfort or fear betyer to sleep near. baby make sure she is fed well before sleep. maintain comfortable calm environment for the sound sleep
