my 3 n half months old baby has cough....she can't sleep....can i give her tixylix syrup..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr old boy5 years agoA. it is not advisable to give this medicine without medical consultation because if the child is suffering from productive cough in this syrup will cut of the cough reflex which might increase the problem of the child

If the problem is severe better consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better hydration and nutrition.
