Q.

My 3 months old baby having diarrhea with blood and I can see clearly in her stool but here in attached report says no blood present in stool. this thing today i discussed with same doctor and he suggested to take TAXIM-O 25mg 0.5ml two times per day for 5 days. please suggest me i m so worried about her and why this happening, anything serious??.

A. Chances are that in the stool sample that was given there might not have been blood but as you have already seen it start taking the medication right away anyhow because it is an antibiotic which is supposed to be given as the first treatment. Even at the end of the medication or if the baby is having severe abdominal pain or passing more blood then you can go and cancel the doctor again. If you’re still not satisfied then consider going to another doctor
