Q.

my 3 months old baby demands for breastmilk after every hour and because of which he has a very disturbed sleep. are there any ways by which he will sleep continuously for atleast 3 hours and wont demand for breast? before going to sleep we give him 90ml of formula but still he wakes up in an hour and demands for breast. how can we correct this?

A. this is very common and it is important that breastfeeding or any type of feeding should be given every 3 hours Leon maximum for hourly and if the child is asking for more milk it is advisable to give that milk to the child and do not make the child sleep if the child is hungry

A. Hello ma’am 90 ML is good enough for a three month old child but if you think it is not enough then you can give 120 ML and see if your child is low at least is happy for another 2 to 3 hours with that feed so try doing this and still if your child is not having sound sleep and demanding feet again and again then it could be due to some other issues so you do need to consult your paediatrician ones
