Q.
my 3 month old baby is very cranky since days. always demands for milk even he is full and releases bad smell gas. doesn't poop also. can I give him gripe water

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. not advisable as itself is a medicine with side-effects you have to give only breastfeeding /milk to the child till completion of 6 months of age and before 6 months of age if you are giving any type of outside food or complementary feeding it can cause digestion problem in the child. no need to give water also because breast milk contains 80% of water and water also is given after six months of age only. it is advisable to continue the the multi vitamin and supplement medicines given by your doctor
