Q.

my 3 month old baby girl has hard lumps under both her nipples.is it normal??

A. You should show it to a pediatrician. It's most probably normal and would go eventually. DO NOT press or squeeze the breasts to get the milk out. your baby can risk having a breast abscess which will require surgery.

A. yes it is normal. it will go with time. u can squeeze them a little also during daily body massages, only if the baby is not feeling any pain. some milk like liquid will come out. do it daily for 5-6 days. it will go. my baby girl also had the same lumps. I did this for a week n the lumps vanished. I read it in a book on pregnancy that baby tends to adapt the same changes whatever is happening to the mother during pregnancy. that's why some babies, no matter male or female, develops these lumps (containing milk) in their breasts. it goes off naturally after sometime. no need to worry.
