my 3 month old baby does not turn head towards sound is it normal

Hearing and speech, at 1 month, the baby turns head towards sounds of rattle, by 6 months produces monosyllable sounds like ma, ba and around 9 months bisyllables like mama, baba. Around 10 months understand spoken speech or sound. Usually by the age of 1 year, child can use two words. Vocabulary increases during second year. Between the age of two years , make simple sentence using two to three words. Gradually their vocabulary increases when they turn 3 years.

It's not normal Need to examine ur baby Visit ur nearest pediatrician He will examine ur baby and guide u in a better way Keep ur Baby well hydrated Continue to give feed as per baby's demand Keep a watch on urine output Baby should pass urine minimum 6-8 times per day.

Author of questionMom of 2 children7 years agoA. but he wakes up on sudden sound and coos when have eye contact but can't make out from where sound is coming nd does not look from where sound source is
