Q.

my 3 month baby girl sucking her thumb always if she not get her thumb properly she get cranky. Is this a normal?

A. According to the details that you have mentioned here it can be said as normal but if you still have doubts regarding this and that this might be itsomething else than you can consult your doctor for further guidance and suggestions about it till then you can keep this under your observation for time.

A. Babies have natural rooting and sucking reflexes, which can cause them to put their thumbs or fingers into their mouths — sometimes even before birth. Because thumb sucking makes babies feel secure, some babies might eventually develop a habit of thumb sucking when they're in need of soothing or going to sleep.
