Q.
My 3.8 yrs old daughter repeatedly suffers from cough and cold.After taking medicine she remains fine for few days but again the problem starts.What to do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antritussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeatedf after 6 hours again if required .

Could be a possibility that your child is suffering with certain kind of analogy which is why this could be happening I would just advise you to get an allergy test done for the child that is going to help you in understanding what exactly is the issue and further more you can just go ahead as per that onlyWrite Your Answer Here
