Q.

my 3.5 year son had an iron rod injury i.e scratch on neck. have cleaned it thoroughly. no bleeding or pain. should we go for tetanus injection or other Tx . pls advise

A. apply fucidin ointmint no tt vaccine because DPT vaccine will be having TT in itfor further advice in this regard it is advisable to consult your doctor for physical examination and if there is need to do investigations also then only proper treatment can be given
