Q.
My 3.5 year old daughter has got fever. I had sore throat and fever and she got it from me. Doc has prescribed distaclor antibiotic and crocin 120 7 ml 6 hourly. Should i give her antibiotic ? Her regular paediatrician said to only give crocin but i got her checked from some other pead as i was at my parents city

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a pddroper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
