Q.

My 3 & 1/2 month daughter is having loose motion for last 10 days.We showed to the Dr. and she said its nothing to worry about.Dr.gave her Zenarid (Zinc)for 14days and Bifilac for 7days. The frequency of the loose motion has decreased a little, though the number is still 6to 7 times a day. She has no fever and she is totally active and playful.

A. Viral diarrhea lasts 5-14 days. Severe diarrhea only occurs on the first 1 or 2 days. But, loose stools can last for 1 to 2 weeks.
