my 2years baby having fever I gave calpol 250 any antibiotics needed??

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. These kind of fever are usually Viral in nature . You must give paracetamol containing medicine to baby at 6 hourly for 1 day, if fever does come down to base line you must add meftal p syrup for that spike.you can do tepid sponging with Luke warm water.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom Consult your doctor for the same if antibiotics are required. Viral fever can take 3-5 days to subside. Give calpol for fever. Repeat the dose after 4-5 hours if fever comes again.
