Q.

My 2months baby is having blocked nose and cold, his vaccine due is on March 4th. do we need to wait until he is cure or is it ok to take. please guide

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be vgery useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in ga proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
