“My 23-month-old son has a habit of eating soil/mud. Is this normal, or could it indicate any nutritional deficiency or health issue? What should I do to stop this behavior?

A. Usually this kind of situation arises when the child is low on calcium and yes you are right it is usually associated with deficiencies in the body but mostly dominantly calcium which is why I suggest you to kindly consult your doctor for further assessment
