my 20 mths old baby uses gestures to talk is it ok but he is playfull and understands what we say he talks some few worda

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. you should interact with your child gradually the child will learn to speak words and then sentences and also all the other milestones needs to be assessed to rule out any other possibility

See The paediatrician say that a child and start talking up till the age of 36 months so if you want you can wait to 36 months and since you mentioned that your child understands everything but talk with gestures that is also very common with kids but you should try to encourage your child to talk more because with your little bit of encouragement only your child is going to start talking further
