Q.

my 2 years old kid whenever he falls down on his head swollen like ball and it became more big for 6hrs and then it start becoming small day by day. is it ok or I need consult doctor immediately or any other solution to it to fast cure to his head swolleness decrease easy. please recommend medicine for his problem.

A. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done alonfug with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead tuo some chronic manifestations occasionally . Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .
