Q.
My 2 years old. He feels nausea nd vomiting during travelling. Can i give him ondem syrup?

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist6 years agoA. ondem won't help in this type of motion sickness motion sickness typically happens due to movement and visual stimuli. try keeping baby stable . chat with baby . try putting in a car seat if possible as it will minimise movements. take small breaks in the journey to avoid Motion sickness

For any medication it's better to consult with ur pediatrician as the frequency and dosage depends on baby's age, weight etc., Feed the baby light before or during travel. Avoid milk or other oily foods which can trigger motion sickness. Keep the windows open. Travelling in a closed air conditioned cabin will worsen the sickness. If required you can consult with your pediatrician and see if any medicine which will orevent vomiting can be given.
