Q.
my 2 year old son was running and fall down on his knee, may be his leg is twisted or muscle was hurt. he is not having swelling at that part and his fingers and leg movements are okay. But may be he is scared or having pain, so not putting his leg on floor since 2 days. should i consult orthopaedic or not? please answer asap

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy5 years agoA. in such a scenario you will have to visit the doctor to find the cause of pain whether it is ligament injury or tendon injury muscle pain or bone pain

Author of questionMom of a 7 yr old boy5 years agoA. if he is sitting and playing, then he dont have any complains for pain but when we insist him to walk or stand on his leg, then he is having problem and he start to cry that i dont want to walk. due to his pain or he is scared dont know. and yes we have given him paracetamol syrup today. its been 36 hrs but he is not willing to walk

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy5 years agoA. you can give paracetamol to the child and if the child is not having any complaints in walking and moving around then there is no need to visit the doctor but if it is present then only visit your doctor
