Q.

My 2 year old son serum ferritin level is 9.9 ng/ml. We did blood test he is not responding to his name, night sleep disturbances and strange leg movements. Is he Iron deficient> Do he needs medications?

A. The symptoms that you have told here don’t go along with iron deficiency anemia and you have to consult a pediatrician in person rule out regarding the leg movements etc.Write Your Answer Here

A. Iron profile test came normal only serum ferritin is low. so we got confused
