A. don't force him.. Toilet training is a very tedious process.. It involves a lot of time, patience, messy Ness... If your kid is ready for toilet training..(please check the toilet training readiness)... Then you can start the toilet training... You can go by any method which will suitable for both of you... Some steps for toilet training... Remove the diaper during the daytime.. wear him simple pants...Let him feel the uncomfortable feeling when he pee or poop in the pant.. This will get him to the urge to get clean... Teach the baby the name of the pee and poop.. Everytime he does it, you should tell him that you had done pee..or poop... (If the baby had not started to talk then use hand sign along with the words) ( sign language works for me a lot when my baby is of 10 months, he used to signal me from the 10th month) Please don't use any code words... Use general words... Get a toilet seat or potty pot... Teach him to sit in it regularly.. First try to make him comfortable with the sit... Then go for what to do in the sit.. Observe your child's pee and poop pattern and take him to the seat and tell him that it's pee time and now onwards you should pee on this... and make him sit in it frequently... Praise him when he do it rightly... Don't scold him for the accident.. Go one step at a time.. It's very messy and tedious process.. So you should have a lot of patience...
