my 2 year old is not having anything not even water. he has viral fever I'm giving him medicine as prescribed by the doctor. sould I worry about his food intake? if yes how to deal with it #asktheexpert

In this here it is very difficult to comment properly until a proper examination or assessment is done to find out thjhe exact cause so it is advisable to consult your doctor so that he could examine and evaluate properly and will guide you accordingly for this .h

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. It's also very common for many infections that cause fever to cause a decreased appetite, too. As long as your little one is still drinking and peeing, not eating as much as usual is okay for most minor illnesses; no special diet is necessary.
