Q.

my 2 year old had diarrhoea 10 days back n she was prescribed zindust drops. but we didn't completed the course then. after that she had vomiting n loose motions then doctor prescribed cefixime and oflaxocin suspension along with lactobacillus drops.after a week she is having loose motions again.now doctor has prescribed metronidazole n oflaxocin drops and zindust drops. what is the reason for her recurrence? she keeps putting her toys in mouth even we try to tel her not to. and is it because of her water sipper bottle?

A. Hello ma’am I would advise you to go for a stool test for your child as maybe a child is having a stomach infection which is why this is happening over and over again so it would be best that you consult your paediatrician and go for a proper stool test and once the report comes at least you’ll be sure about the reason behind it and finally a medication would be given because repeat it in medicines are definitely not good for the baby
