My 2 year old daughter prefers my Mother in Law over me when she is hurt. Have I failed as a mother? Or is it because my MIL pulled her away from when she cried as a little baby?

A. please do not worry and just continue your care love and affection for your child and the child will then come near you also. it is very normal the child will be more attached to the person who comes in contact more with the child.
