Q.

my 2 year old boy gets febrile seizure after having sudden temperature. Doctor suggested MRI and EEG . Is it necessary. Please suggest. My baby was absolutely healthy. In 2 years he hardly gets fever. cough cold. This febrile seizure is a big concern.

A. dear mom it is better to get the advised investigation done. avoid high grade fever, act immediately in the onset of fever. usually febrile seizures last long for 5-6 years of age
