Q.

my 2 year old baby is having frequent motions which is in black colour today. is it normal or unusual?

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should tbe maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if it isg bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .

A. Its Black that could be due to the supplement of iron that you are giving and the second thing is if your child is having lose motions and that could be due to some infection in the stomach or upset stomach will have to get a check with your doctor ones
