Q.

My 2 year 3 months old daughter still eats only semi-solid food and is very picky eater. How to introduce solid foods and variety of foods in her diet?

A. you need to teach your child how to chew Kids are often fussy eaters try to add new flavours colours and textures to the diet add more fruits and vegetables in the diet add dry fruits powder in the diet maintain hygiene in the area clean with Luke warm water maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

A. Be patient. Offer new foods many times. You may have to offer a food 10 to 15 times before your child will try it.Let your child help. Let them choose foods in the grocery store. Then find a way they can help prepare the meal or set the table. Participating in the different parts of mealtime may make them more likely to eat.Make things fun. Cut food into shapes with cookie cutters. Display the food in a creative way on your child’s plate. Have your child come up with special names for their favorite foods.
