Q.
my 2 month old baby seems to sleep very less .. she hardly sleeps 10 hours out of 24 hours.. i breastfeed her and she seems satisfied.. also her weight gain is normal.. is it something to be worried about and what can i do

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. many times baby don't feel to sleep in a comfortable position due to gas in stomach , so you need to burp your baby well after each feed.
you should give at least 3 to 4 burps after every feed

Not at all if the child is sleeping a minimum for 8 to 10 hours at this age there is no problem and with time the sleep time is going to increase because right now if your child is sleeping for a little less duration with the age of 3 to 4 months the sleep duration will definitely increase
