My 2 month old baby did not poop for 2 days. Is this normal?

A. thank u doctor. my baby is exclusively breastfed

A. Constipation in Babies less than 6 months is very common and more in formula fed babies. you can give bonfnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctdor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age

A. Hello dear parent, babies upto 6 months of age can hold their poop for 7 days but beyond that period you must consult with your paediatric. To prevent this situation you must burp your baby after every feed by holding him in upright position and massage his back for 20 mins and 4 burps are necessary. Good luck and take care
