Q.

My 2.5 years old girl has constipation, hard stool from 4 days.. as per doctor prescribtion I give her 'relux polyethylene glycol oral laxative syrup' from 2 days but no improvement, she is holding her urine too for long time. I give her rice, pulses, mango, banana and plenty of water from 3 days. Is it normal ? after giving her syrup she still have hard stools, she is giving pressure on her abdomen. shall I wait for more 2-4 days ? she has no other problem, she is playing for 1 hour happily and then again giving pressure too poop.
