Q.

My 2.5 month baby makes sucking movements in sleep. Does that mean he is hungry and I should feed him in sleep.?

A. Hi mamma That is quite normal in babies It is not really a hunger cue and will go away with time Continue breast feeding When hungry, usually the baby cries

A. you should feed the baby once every 2 to 3 hours. this is absolutely necessary at this stage. even when the baby is sleeping in the night you must carry the baby in the lap and feed.baby will feed in sleep also. these kind of actions are very common un babies and sometimes specifically done for hunger.
