HomeQuestions & AnswersMy 2.4 Yr old son hits everyone even me and his dad. Out of anger, we even slap him, give punishments but nothing works on him.Either he ignores and smile away or cries say sorry and promised not doing again. The very next moment started again, break his toys, destroys everything.
He has started school few days ago and not enjoying it much. We continously get complains like he hit other children, pull his teacher hair, slaps helpers, throws lunchboxes and water bottles, running here and there and don't want to sit in the class etc. Either, he cry all the day or otherwise doing naughty acts. I don't know how to deal with him. Is this behaviour normal?

NoorainMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy5 years agoA. I'm facing the similar problem with my child. He does the same. I'm also worried, how to get rid of this behaviour.? He hits all the kids even if I take him to play areas/ parks. At times the other parents get very angry and they scold him. Nothing seems to be working for me. He even hits his cousins when they come home. He doesn't share his things. but he wants everything of others. Please give me suggestions. Should I take him to a counsellor?

PreranaMom of a 12 yr 5 m old girl7 years agoA. Giving your child positive reinforcement for being good helps maintain the ongoing good behavior. reward is something a child earns, an acknowledgement that she’s doing something that’s difficult for her. Rewards are most effective as motivators when the child can choose from a variety of things Set some rule for them.. Teach them new skill new activities always
