HomeQuestions & AnswersMy 18 months old likes to spin everything. Plates , bangles , wheels etc. While doing he tilts his head . He doesn’t socialise with new people but plays with me all the time. He smiles and makes eye contact. Also he doesn’t respond to his name when he is busy playing . I have been reading things about AUTISM and getting worried. Author of questionMom of 2 children7 years agoA. Yes DR. Arti. He speaks few words like( papa, baba )makes eye contact , plays peeka boo, claps , laughs and dances on his favourite songs. Since he is a twin , he interacts with his brother all the time. They fight for a same toy and they play jumping on the bed. I told his doctor about his speech delay and he said it’s fine as of now because they are premature babies their milestones could be different. The only thing that bothers me is that he spins everything and sometimes tilts his head to see things from a different angle. As far as interactions are concerned he looks very confident around me and his dad. But when it comes to strangers he tries not to make eye contact. Sorry for such a long post but I have all these fears and my husband says that I am being paranoid.
