My 18 days old girl baby has yellow discharge in right ear... we Consult pediatrician, he recommended antibiotic syrup, ear drops and nasal drops but it's not cured so after 8 days doctor advised us to start antibiotics injection for my baby... is this anything serious? I'm worried a lot

A. Yes, babies and toddlers can and should take antibiotics to treat bacterial infections, such urinary tract infections, pneumonia or bacterial sinusitis.
