Q.
My 16 months old Son is having loose stools since last night. Due to some restrictions I'm not able to take him to the nearest pediatrician. So pls guide

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Loose motion are mostly infective which could be bacterial or viral in origin.
the most important thing is fluid and electrolyte imbalance which can vvcause dehydration and further complications which should be managed properly.
Initially probiotics can be given along with zinc supplement and ors solution.
Antibiotics should be given if required by the doctor only .
