Q.

My 16 days old baby boy is coughing 5-7 times a day. I have consulted doctor and he has advised medicines for 3 days. Is cough serious in newborns?

A. just steam fir now. Cough and cold is due to the seasonal variation or changes in temperature . Mostly it's a viral and will be normal in 3 to 5 days just steam as a home remedy for this. Other montair LC for cold and ascoril for cough can be used
